Product Review : Benefit The POREfessional and Stay Flawless

Back in November 2013, I purchased a few products from Benefit which I was dying to buy
a long time ago and finally got my brother to get it for me from Sephora, KL.
I got the Benefit POREfessional and Stay Flawless 15 Hour Primer
after reading a lot of good reviews online as well as hearing them from my own friends.

I really love Benefit products because of their really retro/vintage theme
and also the product is really good! The only problem is that their products are pricey that's all.
Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase!

I have been using Benefit products for a few years now but I have yet to try out their
skincare and primers but only their eyeshadow palettes.

I have used these two palettes for years and I must say these are one of the really good stuff!
Packaging made perfect for travelling and also to bring around in my bag for touch up.
Really pigmented eyeshadows and I really love the shades and the brushes!

Okay back to the POREfessional..

You don't need a huge amount to apply on the face.
As you can see above, that's the amount you need for your face.
Just dab it on the areas that has large pores that you want to cover up.

Its translucent so don't worry bout reapplying or touching up unless
it has been a super long day and you have an event to attend at night and you need to
retouch up your makeup. You can apply this directly on top of your makeup
but remember to not apply too much and dab it on with your fingers.

It comes with instructions behind the box teaching you how to apply it under and over your makeup.
It comes with a small pamphlet inside as well which is really helpful.

I love the texture and smell! It has a very silky texture and a really sweet smell too!
Its oil-free as well so this is perfect for those with oily skin.

I have to say this really is one of the products in this world I cannot survive with.
It really covers up the pores and also you can use this for a long time since you don't need
a huge amount to apply every single time. I always apply this alone and I'm out of the house.

Now THIS is another primer I really like!
I usually use a liquid base primer but after reading reviews about this I bought it.
Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer is a stick primer which is translucent like the POREfessional.
Just look at the cute packaging and cover! Really love the design!

One thing that really impressed me was that this primer came with a cap inside.
Now this is the first time I've seen this. I have seen other concealer, foundation and primer
sticks that has no cap at all but Benefit made one with a cap which is really good.
Why? Because it keeps it clean from dust and other bacteria.

Roll it up and glide on to apply and roll it back down after using it and then cover it with the cap.
It looks big and bulky but its actually pretty light and convenient to bring around!

I have used this for over 3 months now and I am very happy with the result.
I don't know about the rest of the world but I find that my makeup does stay on for a long time
and it doesn't crease as well. You can check out here on how to apply it!

I really wish they have a branch here in KK but sadly they don't.
I DID hear rumours that there will be a Sephora opening up in KK soon.
Hopefully its true so I can purchase more Benefit products.

A few other products I really want to try out..

Love how its a loose powder that helps to absorb the oil from the face in case your face
gets oily and its best used together with the POREfessional. It also comes with a kabuki brush!

This looks quite similar to the Big Beautiful Eyes but with a slightly pinkish touch.
Perfect for those with slightly fairer skin!

This foundation has A LOT of good reviews.
It was even reviewed by the famous makeup artist, Wayne Goss
You can check out his review here

More product reviews coming soon!
You can leave a comment below about other products that you'd like me to try out.
I'd be happy to try out other products for you guys!

***This is not a sponsored post. Everything I reviewed about is based on my own personal opinions. Some of these products might not work for you but it did for me and so again, this is based on my personal opinion and things that works for my face and skin.***

  1. I would really love to see the effect of the Porefessional in covering up your pores, maybe you can show us a picture?

  2. Wah I have been waiting for Sephora to open at KK...hope it comes true :D

  3. Before and after pictures would be great :)

Cropped Top - DIY Inner Blue Top - F.O.S Ripped Denim Shorts - Miss OCD Tribal Necklace - Red City, Centre Point
Here's another DIY done by Yours Truly!

I've made all these from really BIG tshirts I found in my closet. Since I'm not gonna wear em' so why not reconstruct the shirts into something else.
Here are the steps to making your very own Cropped Tank Top!
Supplies that you need :
Big Tshirts and Scissors

Step One : Cut off the sleeves. Cut at least 1cm away from the seams.
Step Two : Cut the collar part off. Then try on the shirt!  If the sleeves are too thick cut it again til the sleeves becomes slightly thinner.
Step Three : Cut off the bottom hems off and pull the fabric on all the part that you cut till it loosens and rolls up.
Then..YOU'RE DONE! This is how mine turned out.
Really simple right?

Coral Flyer Island to Island Zipline, Pulau Sapi, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

Hey hey hey! Guess what?
I just had the most awesome-mess time at the Coral Flyer!

2 week ago, a group of 12 bloggers and 3 friends set out on an island trip to try the Coral Flyer.
We gathered at 9am in the jetty in Jesselton Point and the best part was we managed to
convince the guy at the counter for student price tickets!

***Note that boat ride from Mainland - Pulau Sapi are at own cost.***

Kendy decided to join us for this trip!

We took a boat to Pulau Sapi first cause' that's where you get your tickets for the Coral Flyer.
Weather was really sunny that day and we decided to chill at Pulau Sapi before
trying out the Coral Flyer.

See that guy in yellow.. that's Mr.Simon Amos!
The owner of Ropeskills Sdn Bhd, Sabah Indoor Climbing Centre AND also the Coral Flyer.

Everyone had to fill in the waiver form before getting on the flying fox.

Its really worth shopping with Cotton On online cause' most of the

not everything is super cheap! Their sales can go up to 70% and its madness!
Things can go from as low as Rm2.00 and seriously who doesn't love sales?

Product Review : Ronasutra Mineral Makeup

I ordered a bunch of mineral makeups fromRonasutra.
I have been a loyal user of Ronasutra for years now and I really love how their products are good for sensitive skin like mine.
Their price ranges are very affordable.

Back when I first discovered Ronasutra products ,  I was feeling a little skeptical on trying out their products but reading their infos and reviews from blogs and youtubers, I decided to give it a go.  Went on to their website and browsed around and I realized how much this brand has grown.

This is my favourite category in the whole website. Look at all the different shades and tones they came out with. I'm currently using the one in the shade (04 Honey) which is sold out at the moment.
I just found out about their skincare line and I love the packaging. I am so looking into trying out their skincare products in the future.
I even tried out their blusher before and I really love how well it blends on the skin and how lasting it is on my cheeks. I us…

Product Review : Yves Rocher, Cosmétique Végétale®

Last month, I was given an opportunity to try out Yves Rocher products.
I heard of this brand before but never knew we had one outlet in Suria mall!
I received a box of products to try out!

Love the red ribbon!

Hydra Vegetal Hydrating Toner, Hydra Vegetal 24 Rich Hydrating Cream, Hydra Vegetal Hydrating Cleansing Milk, Sexy Pulp Lash Plumping Mascara,  Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Raspberry Silky Body Lotion and Moment de Bonheur Eau de Parfum.
Yves Rocher produces products which uses natural organic plants. They harvest their own plants and extract the best ingredients from the plants.  Their products are manufactured in their factories in Bretagne, France.
Sexy Pulp Lash Plumping Mascara
I love the brush! Makes it easy to apply on and it gives  that really full look if you want those volumized looking eyelashes!
Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Raspberry Silky Body Lotion
The lotion smells really nice and fruity!  I love it cause of its non-oily texture. It doesn't have that oily and stick…
