Product Review : Althea Korea | Malaysia

Hello March!
Here I am again on another shopping spree and also on a journey to discover new Korean brand skincare and makeup products.
I have been browsing through Althea Korea A LOT and I realized how cheap everything cost compared to prices in Malaysia which is like double the price.

The first thing I noticed was how cute the website looks!
Very user friendly website and also love how they made it easy to browse around.
What caught my attention was the FREE SHIPPING for orders above Rm99 which is really good news for me.

Being someone who lives in Sabah (East Malaysia), it always cost a bomb to get something shipped over from anywhere especially
West Malaysia and Korea. It ain't cheap yo and I usually spend a lot on shipping which is such a waste of money.

Another thing I really love about this website is the amount of brands they have on their page.
I found so many brands here that I couldn't find anywhere in Malaysia. One of my favourite brands would be Dear,Klairs.
We don't have this in Sabah but not sure about West Malaysia though. Also they are selling another favourite brand of mine which is Etude House which we have here in Malaysia but SO EXPENSIVE. So glad I got my hands on a some products for a really REALLY cheap price.

Oh not forgetting they always have sales going on everyday! Who doesn't love sales?
I kid you not, the prices are so cheap that I was close to buying all of them.
Some were even less than Rm15. Madnesss!!!

Ahem..Moving on..
I ordered my stuff and it took 7 working days for my parcel to arrive eventhough they mentioned it takes10-15 working days .
Good job Althea!

Here's how the parcel looks like..

The box is pink too!

Even the inside is pink!

Its My Eyelash Curler (Comb) (RM12), Its My Cushion Cherry Blossom Case Set (RM19), Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream (RM83), Choosy Lip Pack (RM3.50 each),Tony Moly Panda's Dream Eye Patch (RM12) and Skin Food Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder (RM35).

Everything arrived in excellent condition. No cracks or spills or even tears.
Everything was wrapped in bubble wrap and sealed tightly.
So glad everything was fine when it arrived.

The only problem was the eyelash curler which I ordered.
I ordered the Eyelash Curler Comb which according to the website has a comb attached to it and the curler to help comb the lashes while curling them but when it arrived, the comb went missing. Emailed Althea and informed them and they were nice enough to check what happened and found out that they sent the wrong item and refunded me the money in reward points for their website. I didn't mind the reward points because I knew I would be shopping with them again and I want to say, Good Job Althea with your customer service! Definitely 5/5 stars on dealing with the problem and how fast the response was to the problem.

Etude House Moistfull Collagen Cream (RM83)

I have always wanted to try out Etude House products and I have been watching Youtube reviews from my favourite Youtuber,
Kim Dao about this product. I decided to give it a go since I have dry skin now. Previously I had combination skin but for some reason it became really dry. Tried this out for a week and I am so happy with the results. My face is definitely a lot more moisturised, less oily and I also felt like a bit of a lift to my skin.

I went for facial the following week and even my friend was surprised with the results.
I told her about it and she said to keep using it if its good for my face and so I did.
So, thank you Kim if you are reading this. You saved my face!

Skin Food Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder (RM35)

Another product that Kim was talking a lot about was this Skin Food Peach Sake Silky Finish Powder. Its actually a loose powder that comes with a puff. First thing I noticed was how soft the puff was and also the smell of the powder was really nice. I applied it over my face after applying my foundation and concealer and I love how matte it made my face look.  Its a translucent powder so no worries bout' your face turning white.

FYI, I couldn't find this ANYWHERE in Malaysia and I found it in Althea.
So, thank you Althea for selling this product. Hopefully they will restock this because they're completely sold out right now.

Its My Cushion Cherry Blossom Case Set (RM19)

Now this is something which got me really excited while I was waiting for my parcel to arrive.
Where else can you find an empty cushion case set that comes with the sponge and puff.
I'm so glad I found this on Althea and I finally get to use it for my favourite foundation and bring it with me when I travel.
They have a lot of designs to choose from and I chose the Cherry Blossom one.
Too cute! AND... its only Rm19!

Choosy Lip Pack (RM3.50 each)

As most of you know, I have VERY chapped lips.
I have a really bad habit of peeling or biting the skin on my lips until it bleeds.
I read reviews on how these sort of lip mask helps with chapped lips so I ordered 2 different flavours and I have yet to try them out yet.
Will definitely try them out real soon!

Tony Moly Panda's Dream Eye Patch (RM12)

I always love eye patch or eye mask or whatever you guys call it.
My eye bags are just horrible and usually I would just use an entire sheet mask for my face just so I could use it for my
eye area but so glad I found this eye patches. Can't wait to try them out soon too!

They even have a mobile app that you can download for free.

***This is not a sponsored post. Everything I reviewed about is based on my own personal opinions. Some of these products might not work for you but it did for me and so again, this is based on my personal opinion and things that works for my face and skin.***

Cropped Top - DIY Inner Blue Top - F.O.S Ripped Denim Shorts - Miss OCD Tribal Necklace - Red City, Centre Point
Here's another DIY done by Yours Truly!

I've made all these from really BIG tshirts I found in my closet. Since I'm not gonna wear em' so why not reconstruct the shirts into something else.
Here are the steps to making your very own Cropped Tank Top!
Supplies that you need :
Big Tshirts and Scissors

Step One : Cut off the sleeves. Cut at least 1cm away from the seams.
Step Two : Cut the collar part off. Then try on the shirt!  If the sleeves are too thick cut it again til the sleeves becomes slightly thinner.
Step Three : Cut off the bottom hems off and pull the fabric on all the part that you cut till it loosens and rolls up.
Then..YOU'RE DONE! This is how mine turned out.
Really simple right?

Here's another step to make another different style for your cropped tank top!

Hey hey hey! Guess what?
I just had the most awesome-mess time at the Coral Flyer!

2 week ago, a group of 12 bloggers and 3 friends set out on an island trip to try the Coral Flyer.
We gathered at 9am in the jetty in Jesselton Point and the best part was we managed to
convince the guy at the counter for student price tickets!

***Note that boat ride from Mainland - Pulau Sapi are at own cost.***

Kendy decided to join us for this trip!

We took a boat to Pulau Sapi first cause' that's where you get your tickets for the Coral Flyer.
Weather was really sunny that day and we decided to chill at Pulau Sapi before
trying out the Coral Flyer.

See that guy in yellow.. that's Mr.Simon Amos!
The owner of Ropeskills Sdn Bhd, Sabah Indoor Climbing Centre AND also the Coral Flyer.

Everyone had to fill in the waiver form before getting on the flying fox.

Product Review : Ronasutra Mineral Makeup

I ordered a bunch of mineral makeups fromRonasutra.
I have been a loyal user of Ronasutra for years now and I really love how their products are good for sensitive skin like mine.
Their price ranges are very affordable.

Back when I first discovered Ronasutra products ,  I was feeling a little skeptical on trying out their products but reading their infos and reviews from blogs and youtubers, I decided to give it a go.  Went on to their website and browsed around and I realized how much this brand has grown.

This is my favourite category in the whole website. Look at all the different shades and tones they came out with. I'm currently using the one in the shade (04 Honey) which is sold out at the moment.
I just found out about their skincare line and I love the packaging. I am so looking into trying out their skincare products in the future.
I even tried out their blusher before and I really love how well it blends on the skin and how lasting it is on my cheeks. I us…

Product Review : Yves Rocher, Cosmétique Végétale®

Last month, I was given an opportunity to try out Yves Rocher products.
I heard of this brand before but never knew we had one outlet in Suria mall!
I received a box of products to try out!

Love the red ribbon!

Hydra Vegetal Hydrating Toner, Hydra Vegetal 24 Rich Hydrating Cream, Hydra Vegetal Hydrating Cleansing Milk, Sexy Pulp Lash Plumping Mascara,  Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Raspberry Silky Body Lotion and Moment de Bonheur Eau de Parfum.

Sexy Pulp Lash Plumping Mascara
I love the brush! Makes it easy to apply on and it gives  that really full look if you want those volumized looking eyelashes!
Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Raspberry Silky Body Lotion
The lotion smells really nice and fruity!  I love it cause of its non-oily texture. It doesn't have that oily and stick…
